The ifppe has also started its own projects around the world.
AJA: Humanitarian
From AJA’s emergence as a poet in the 1980’s, he has been focusing on many of the world’s problems.
War, social decay and economic suppression, and in particular their impact on children, have been the themes of his work.
This persistency was rewarded in October 2003, when he was made a United Nations Development Program (UNDP)
Spokesperson on War and Poverty for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean. AJA has also founded his own trust and
international charity called the International Foundation for Peace and Poverty Eradication (IFPPE).
